A lot happens between appointments.
Your patient leaves the clinic. Over the next few weeks their sleep, stress, mood, and daily functioning shift, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. At the next appointment, you get a snapshot: whatever they remember and choose to mention.
By then, weeks of change have gone unseen.
The data exists. The picture doesn't.
Heart rate, sleep, activity
Stays in a device app
Their own stress and mood
Stays in forms and memory
Clinical history
Stays in the record
Three sources of information, three separate systems, and no shared timeline that lets you read one signal in light of the others.
Data on its own doesn't explain much.
A single reading can mean many things. Without knowing what else is happening in a patient's life, and what's normal for them, it's hard to tell what matters and what's just noise.
Right now, most of that context never reaches you.
What happened since the last appointment.
- 01
A short text, no app
Patients answer a few questions by text message. Nothing to download or log in to.
- 02
Personal baseline
Each answer read against what's typical for that patient, not a population average.
- 03
Ready before they arrive
Walk into the appointment already knowing what changed, and when.
Whatever we build, some things won't change.
Support, never diagnose.
You make the decisions. Technology should help you see more clearly, not replace your judgement.
Transparency first.
You should always understand the reasoning behind any tool you rely on.
Built on patient trust.
Anything we build must respect patient consent and control over their data.
Early, and looking for honest reactions.
Before we build further, we want to hear from the people who would use it. In a 30-minute session we'll ask how you work, show you the product, and ask what would make it useful in your setting. No commitment, and nothing is for sale. If you're short on time, the 5-minute survey still helps us a great deal.
A session is worth your time if you
- work in outpatient mental health, as a therapist, prescriber or practice lead
- have walked into an appointment wishing you knew what had happened since the last one
- have tried check-ins or questionnaires between visits and seen them fade
Questions, answered.
Is LUSE a product I can use today?
Not yet. We're in the early research stage, making sure we understand the problem before we build the solution.
Is this a diagnostic tool?
No. Whatever we build, diagnosis and treatment decisions will always stay with the clinician.
Who are you looking to hear from?
Clinicians, mental health professionals, and care teams: anyone who has felt the gap between appointments.
What will you do with what I share?
Your input shapes what we build and nothing else. We keep notes private, never share identifying details, and never ask about individual patients.
What happens after I sign up?
If you book a conversation, we'll get in touch to arrange a time that suits you. If you take the survey, that's it: thank you. Either way, we can keep you updated as the work develops if you'd like.
Your privacy
Anything you share with us, in a conversation or the survey, is used only to understand this problem better. We won't ask for any patient-identifiable information. We don't sell data or share it with third parties, and you can ask us to delete your responses at any time.
Your patients' care shouldn't begin and end at the appointment.
Help us understand the gap, so we can work out how to close it.
